Parish service schedule for January and February 2025
Office Hours during the months of January and February will be Friday mornings from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm or by appointment. Please contact Fr. Nichalas if you need to schedule an appointment. (frnichalas@gmail.com, or 641-530-1253)
Parish Book Study Our parish book study will resume the week after Theophany on January 14th. We will continue reading the book “Meditations for the 12 Great Feasts” by Vassilios Papavassilious. Each Tuesday, our book study will be preceded by Morning Prayers at 9:40 am. The book study will start at 10:00 am.
Sunday school children ages 5 to 11 will proceed to the Sunday school room following the reception of Holy Communion.
FELLOWSHIP HOUR SIGN UP SHEET: Please remember to sign up to offer one item for fellowship or offer your services for clean-up on Sundays following the Divine Liturgy. A signup sheet will be available downstairs in the parish hall for the scheduled Sundays.
Great and Holy Lent will begin on March 3rd. The fasting period for Lent will start with Cheesefare week on February 24th, abstain from meats, but fish is allowed. The full Lenten Fast will start with Clean Monday on March 3rd.
